In December of 2015, four podcasters disappeared in the area near the Wasatch Front while recording the season one finale of Baconsale, which is a review of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Days later their audio recording was found, uploaded and posted on various social media sites.

Oh there's no place like Baconsale for the holidays. And since we like to rank things (and tick off The Listener), we have decided to rank our top 10 holidays of the year. Can Kent find something he cares about? Does Joel find the true meaning of Christmas? Does Jake only know how to celebrate national holidays by blowing stuff up? It's time to decide which bad guy will be left standing after the dust settles in our Tournament of Villains! In this episode, we finish what we started as we plow through three rounds of match-ups. You'll hear us debate The Joker vs. Lex Luthor, Magneto vs. Galactus and Darth Vader vs. Dark Helmet. And, if you listen very closely, you might hear the moment when Kent gets slightly agitated at one of the decisions. It's subtle, but it's there.

Heroes get all the glory, it's time for the villains to have some fun. In this episode, we pit the baddest of the bad guys against each other in a fight to the death (a la The Hunger Games) to see who comes out on top. When Kent and Joel agree (which does happen on occasion), the victorious villain automatically advances to the next round. Should they disagree, it's up to Jacob to decide who made the best argument.
Part 1 includes such epic battles as Poison Ivy vs. The Shredder, T-1000 vs. Ultron and Darth Maul vs. the Balrog.

Let the sky fall! It's time for a new Bond-themed episode of Baconsale. In this episode, Kent, Joel and Jacob discuss how Daniel Craig seems to be handling the current Bond franchise, and why the role of 007 hasn't seemed to give Craig his very own quantum of solace. We also place our bets at the Casino Royale regarding who could be the next James Bond, and pitch our ideas for a future Bond movie, when the spectre of Craig has faded.
